Christmas Gifts for Bentley Manor

This year I was truly blessed in miniatures!! My family went all out for Bentley Manor! haha! Maybe its because of the name :) I went on a shopping trip with my MIL and SIL and found so many things that will be perfect including the little miniature Clue game! Thanks Kari for spotting that! Also... the sewing table, fabric and buttons are extra special as my MIL wanted to get something special for Bentley Manor that was just from her! Sewing supplies are the perfect thing seeing as she makes beautiful quilts and it will remind me of her everytime I see it!

Also, my aunt got me this entire Jadite-looking set from Chrysnbon! I LOVE this set! It is so perfect for the time period I am going for! Now I just need a large lovely cabinet to show it all off in the dining room! Oh wait... first I need to work on the dining room!!

Thank you family for the awesome gifts!! I am truely inspired to get this sucker going! Or at least start making a game plan to get these minis in their rightful place! hugs, ara

  1. Oh, you are so LUCKY, Ara! My family NEVER give me miniatures. They don't get it!! I used to have that radio in my dollhouse :)

BTW, my tray is life size *wink*

  2. Wonderful gifts, Ara. Like Marsha, my family has never actually given me miniature gifts but they have been generous with the cash to "but something nice for myself" ;-) ...and believe me, I do! I love the Jadite pieces.

  3. I have to say my Step-dad has gotten really good at finding minis for me when he goes on his trips!! It's fun when you can share you hobbies with the family! So....Is that a silver poodle I see??? LOL...So fun!! And love those dishes! How neat! So....you doing a whole sewing room?? I wanna do one for My Mom for next Christmas....but am lacking the umph to get the project going, lol. So maybe if you start working on something, it will rub of onto me, and I'll get the umph to do something. I think those Santas took it all outta me, lol!!!

  6. I totally agree with Katie. So much more meaningful and fun when you share your hobby with love ones. Especially miniatures. I am one of those lucky ones whose family members contribute to my project by making and designing and knitting :). But when the in-laws are so supportive, then Ara, I think you belong to the super lucky! Every gift you showed look fabulous and I know with your talent, you will be able to show them off quite wonderfully!

  7. So lovely gifts! I love that jadite looking chrysnbon set, I have some of the items in blank and limegreen glass, but so fantastic to get a whole set!
I agree with the others, you are lucky to have such a supportive family! I almost never get mini gifts from my family (except from hubby and the kids, but those I buy myself :-)), but then again, there's not many miniatures to be bought here either.
